never shot one of those, and probably never will, but i have shot from a rifle(with a strong kickback) and a couple of pistols before(and i had fun doing targets!). i used to be scared to touch anything that can "kill" like that, but got over it.
My son was stationed at Twentynine Palms for 3 years. His job was to recover & repair the M1 Abrams. He loved that machine!
